The Roof Gardens Study

Client Profile
Part of the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio of unique retreats, The Roof Gardens is a private members club located 100 feet above Kensington High Street in central London. Part restaurant, part club and part event space!

The Challenge
The Roof Gardens already had a well-established and popular VIP room known as The Moo Room. The Moo Room was multi-purpose and had a well thought out interior design that the owners didn’t want to change.
However, with the business placing a greater focus on live music and entertainment, the team there felt karaoke would be a good fit and add value to their VIP room package.
The Solution
With Lucky Voice for guidance, the team at the Roof Gardens came up with a plan to build our karaoke equipment into hidden audio-visual panels at the front of the Moo Room. When karaoke was in use, these panels would open up to reveal a touchscreen customer interface, LCD television and speaker. When not required, the entire set-up could be hidden.

The Benefits
As an addition, “karaoke adds a sense of fun to the venue”, says Sophie. And this factor, along with the karaoke supplementing a wide range of other entertainments, has increased customer engagement with The Moo Room but also with the venue as a whole.
The Roof Gardens also worked with partner Belvedere Vodka to sponsor both the install and the software. By working with a premium brand, not only was the initial investment reduced but the association adds yet more value to an already interesting proposition.
Overall Success
One Enterprise system installed in The Roof Gardens’ function room
Integration achieved with fully branded software
Adds extra value to the customer experience
Cost of install offset by sponsorship deal with premium vodka brand, Belvedere
